Prof. Zagury founded Vaxconsulting in 2003 to develop the results of his research and generate value. Today, Vaxconsulting has established a strong partnership with the Bioinformatics Dpt. of the CNAM University (Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers), headed by Prof. Zagury. Vaxconsulting develops and exploits the innovative research of the department, with a strong emphasis in the field of anti-cytokine (notably anti--TNF) therapies.
Vaxconsulting was founded in June 2003 by Professor Jean-François Zagury (MD, PhD). Vaxconsulting is a limited responsibility company. Its capital is mainly held by the founder Jean-François Zagury.
Prof J-F Zagury is highly experienced in setting up and managing biotech start-up companies. He co-founded the Neovacs (listed today on Alternext) in 1992 and held the position of CEO from 1992 to 1998 and CSO until 2003. Neovacs has two ongoing phase II clinical studies, over 15 patents and is financed by several institutional investors.
